Pre-order Football Manager 2013 (PC DVD) out in November
The future of Manchester United winger Luis Nani continues to come under speculation with the latest rumours suggesting Juventus and AC Milan will battle it out for his services.
The Portuguese international has seemingly slipped down the pecking order at United, making just four Premier League starts this term and having been withdrawn at half-time in the victory over Liverpool. The arrivals of Robin van Persie and Shinji Kagawa have unquestionably increased competition for places in United's attack.
According to reports, manager Sir Alex Ferguson is open to selling the 25-year-old he paid £25m to sign from Sporting Lisbon in 2007. It has been reported that contract negotiations between United and the player have stalled.
Ready and waiting to sign the winger, who has made over 200 appearances for the Red Devils, are AC Milan and Juventus. The Italian giants are hopeful of securing a cut-price deal of around £12m, although Ferguson will likely hold out for more.
Further reports claim Ferguson has already lined-up Nani's replacement, and will be returning to Portugal to get his man. James Rodriguez, the Columbian international labelled South America's Cristiano Ronaldo, plays for Porto.
The 21-year-old is quoted as saying: “We all know that Manchester United are a great club.
“England is a great league but I’m thinking of Porto for now. We’re having a good time and personally I’m feeling fine and am focused on there.”
