Manchester United's Anderson has had a lot of problems this season, most of them injuries which were no fault of his own. However, the midfielder is still getting into scrapes off the pitch. He's managed to make the news again in Brazil with Terra reporting an incident which happened last night.

Anderson is in Brazil after injury ruled him out for the season and was stopped in Porto Alegre by police who requested he do a breathalyser test for alcohol in his bloodstream. The midfielder refused to take the test and he was only released, pending further inquiries, when he agreed to let a security guard drive him home in the car.

In 2010 Anderson was involved in a serious car accident in Portugal when he had to be dragged from the burning wreckage of the car he had been travelling in.

Sir Alex Ferguson will no doubt not be best pleased when he hears the news, Anderson was a big money signing who has so far failed to really make his mark at Old Trafford. Brilliant runs of form are often interrupted by injury and his fitness and lifestyle have been questioned several times.
