Robin Van Persie praises his great work with best coach Rene Meulensteen - but you'd know that already as we told you about this in the mag (RN196) two months ago

you can read our two part extensive interviews with Rene earlier in the season in our offer at http://www.rednews.co.uk/forum/showthread.php/129690-7-Discount-offer-We-have-5-Red-News-available-from-7-printed-this-season-with-stocks-limited-Get-all-5-for-just-7-50-inc-p-p-or-5-for-digital

Regular readers will know in our well contacted gossip columns we told you in RN196:

"Let us give credit to Rene for his work with RVP. They are getting on well, Rene even saying RVP's left foot is as sweet and accurate a shot as RVP's idol Roger Federer's right handed tennis strokes, and they spend time after normal training sessions working on RVP's right foot and shooting (like the city shot that hit the bar) to further deceive defenders. The whole Premier league knows by now that you have to prevent Robin, at any cost, to shoot with his left foot. So it's very logical to work on how to cut the ball for a quality placed shot with his right. RVP saying he's already learnt a great deal extra since he joined. We give the coaching staff stick from time to time, so here's some credit!"

and now RVP has said it in public this week

The way he trains is refreshing. He is truly one of the best coaches in the world. Ive had a lot of good trainers, but its the way he prepares our team for games. Every match is different so every training session in build-up is unique. We know exactly what to expect. He wins points for us through his training. Weve won a lot of games by the odd goal they are point winners. Consider the game against Chelsea. I scored after a low cross from Antonio Valencia on the right. It might seem like a fluke, but the whole week before the game was spent working on that move. Another example is my goal against Wigan when I cut the ball inside and shot with my right foot again this was a situation we trained on.
